Or, what a difference a day or two makes
Our weather’s been all over the place these past few days. A long period of anticyclonal gloom gave way to bright sunny weather (to everyone’s relief) and the first frost; then we had two days of cold and snow and the usual British inability to cope; and now we have gale force winds, rain, and the temperature is above normal for the time of year!
What with one thing and another, all the photos I’ve taken this week have been close to home. This is no bad thing in my view, as it makes me appreciate where I live and really look. In this post, I’m featuring three sets of three images.
Firstly, fallen frosty Acer leaves blown off the tree outside the kitchen onto the terrace, colours glowing in the overcast.
Secondly, a scattering of the same leaves that landed on the snow yesterday.
And lastly, the wall and roller shutter doors of the ATS garage in Bridport this morning, while I was doing the shopping in the wet and windy town centre. I can’t decide which way to order them, so you have a choice!
