I’ve been making the most of the wet indoor weather by taking a number of workshops with the RPS Digital Imaging Group. Two of the presenters – Brad Carr and Paul Sanders – both emphasised the importance of feelings and presence as part of the process. So I’ve been thinking about this and trying to stop taking random snaps, immersing myself in a place and time.
One of my ‘homeworks’ was to go out and take 5-10 images and make notes on how I felt. So I went down to the Cobb at Lyme Regis and spent an hour soaking up the atmosphere on the only sunny morning for weeks. I made the images into a zine which you can flip through below.
