I go to Lyme Regis, my local town, several times a week, and have photographed much of it over and over. I’m always anticipating the end of creative opportunities, but if you look hard enough, there’s always something. F’rinstance, today I did my usual trawl though the boat park to see if there was any interesting paintwork (a favourite subject of mine). There wasn’t, but I looked at the fibreglass sailing dinghies and spotted some potential in their canvas covers. Not masterpieces, but worth looking at again.
I’ve pontificated elsewhere about the joys of making the most of where you live – and I’m lucky to live somewhere there’s lots to look at.
