It was such a glorious winter morning on the way to do my weekly shopping, I made a point of stopping on the way for a short walk. This scene presented itself for just about a minute before the mist engulfed the whole of Colmer’s Hill – a well-known local landmark between Bridport and Chideock. The conical hill is topped by a small grove of pine trees which provide the main focal point in this very minimalist image, and is more normally seen like this.
