Whenever I visit East Beach in Lyme Regis, I am always tempted to pick up bits of pottery, glass and metal from the town dump. As a result, I now have kilos of the stuff piled in the office, and although I have plans to use it, I’m sure I have far too much!
So, the last three visits I have tried to be extra selective, with the results you see above. The yellow piece elicited a squeal of delight, as did the faceted green drop, which I imagine may have come from a chandelier or one of those table decorations with glass pendants. The marble like a tiny Earth was a joy, too!
(My finds are displayed on a ceramic dish I made and decorated with crushed coloured seaglass from the same beach.)
