I’ve lost count of the many times I wished I had a camera with me – as the owner of an elderly text/call-only mobile phone (how quaint!), I don’t have the luxury of constant readiness for an opportunity. In fact, I even dream of wonderful scenes that I fail to capture because I forgot the camera, or it’s miles away and the scene has evaporated by the time I fetch it.
So, my advice to myself is often ignored. However, today, I happened to have the camera with me, and was at a loose end for 10 minutes in a car park in Bridport. These three images were the result – a serendipitous trio that shows that even a well-known mundane location can offer some surprises when studied carefully.
